The new version of Outlook for Windows (Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.425.600 - Production) no longer allows me to open my old .pst archive files.

All documentation refers to a File menu that this version does not have at all.

Microsoft insidiously introduces new policies and software and it is only after months later that one gets to find out the problems they cause their customers is widespread throughout the globe. Primarily to generate even greater profit. I'm told POP3 is not considered appropriate. My Btconnect account stopped working in April and no one knew why. As a result I have lost access to twenty two years of emails stored in a pst file. Okay I can get software to read the emails but I cannot do anything else. This is a huge let-down by a company presumably trusted everywhere. Unfortunately we are at the whim of a multintional who puts profit before customer care.

A great find. It's shameful that Microsoft doesn't have the customer relations acumen to have realised how much its customers value their archives in .pst files. It should have been a simple matter to have provided a procedure to import .pst data to the new archive folder.
By the way, have you found a way to use MailStore to import .pst data to the new Outlook?

Bye new Outlook - hello old Outlook.

For my way of working this is not negotiable. I need multiple pst files.

it's unbelievable that MS can launch this new platform completeley revisited not considering alla the features... I'm an addicted and I'm really an outlook fan but I'have to switch back. It's disappointing cause the new outlook it's interesting anda very quick in drilling down to the other sw (for instance teams). A lot of work to do.....
