New Outlook won't open .pst files

The new version of Outlook for Windows (Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.425.600 - Production) no longer allows me to open my old .pst archive files.

All documentation refers to a File menu that this version does not have at all.

    All my old emails were stored in these files. This feature is a killer for the aplication, I hope they re support it.

    I'm assuming everyone noticed the Ad for Microsoft 365 in the right column of these posts. I think it's obvious why the "New Outlook" is not compatible with pst files. They want you to subscribe to Microsoft/Office 365 which does allow for archiving/organizing of emails. Of course only so long as you have enough "space" with your Microsoft 365 account but I am 100% certain they will allow you to buy more space as you need it.

    I am sure the "Old Outlook" is going to be made obsolete at some point in the near future and will no longer be supported. So I may have to go back to using Thunderbird either that or migrate everything over to the other mega solution (G**G**). Although even they will only allow you so much free space before you have to buy more.

    I refuse to pay annual subscription fees for such globally common used apps like spreadsheets, presentations, documents, etc.
