The new version of Outlook for Windows (Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.425.600 - Production) no longer allows me to open my old .pst archive files.
All documentation refers to a File menu that this version does not have at all.

This is ridiculous. I need to dig mailbox archive from 2003 :| Please bring back this feature even though just for read-only function
That was going to be the logical conclusion, with the benefit of cutting out all the unwanted bloated functionality.
This is insane. I've archived decades of valuable work emails in pst files because of limits on mail storage size that my organization puts in place. I can't just make them increase their capacities to accommodate me.
Am I going to be forced to use some 3rd party app (thunderbird or such) to access the microsoft outlook email files that microsoft won't support?
May I respectfully suggest for the MS team to consider the No. 1 principle behind the Agile manifesto (2001): ” Our highest priority is to satisfy the customer through early and continuous delivery of valuable software.”
Build the right solution, respond to change by understanding what your customers want/need. Surely, adding ‘pst’ file support/functionality to Outlook 2023 would not be difficult for the MS team. Please consider it seriously.
Lack of .pst file support makes the new Outlook unusable for me. Can't understand what Microsoft is thinking.
