New Outlook won't open .pst files

However the *New* outlook preview in Office 365, does not support PST.
Caused a bit of a panic when users tried the preview and lost access to tons of historical data (Resumed on switching back it was just a shot across the bow)

They have it on the roadmap, with a No*, detailed as "*Coming Soon"
No indication on "Soon" for that support, only when it will be shoved at you.
And no guarantee it will make release.

Did you find out a solution yet? Below is what I have found and it is certainly not a solution, just a band aide.

When I saw the option to change to the new version, I thought I'd try it and, of course, I found out the nightmare that Microsoft has completely shown that is an absolutely lack of caring and disregard for their consumers.

I did take note that it allows us to revert back to the old one, at this time (how kind of them). I am trying to figure out how I want to handle all my old records before Microsoft does its' final transition, which I understand is the last quarter of this year.

It was an easy revert back. Hopefully, reverting back works as easy for others as it did for me. The most difficult task will be figuring out how to deal with my other pst files. As of right now, I moved them all into the current 356 account until I can figure out what to do with them before the last quarter of the year.
