hello, i just turned on the new outlook view and in the Calander you can no longer us your mouse wheel to just scroll up and down. is there a setting for that or is that just how it works now. i do see arrows where you can click to go and down, but the mouse wheel works so much better. thx

Starting with Windows 11, Microsoft has been hell-bent on removing features and functions its best customers have long used, as Paul Thurrott has pointed out! WHY????

Scrolling/viewing Calendars is a MUST! As a project manager I need to look across different months to assess # of weeks needed to meet project target dates. Right now trying to do this hopping from month to month is painful and NOT user friendly AT ALL! I now have to keep the new outlook email open and an OLD calendar version open during my mtgs for the ability to make daily business decisions. This is REALLY frustrating!

Microsoft blew it.
It's not the first time that Microsoft has done something like this (remove a useful feature).
Years ago, I worked with a group of people that did inspections. We used Excel to create our reports. We used macros to do some of the tasks. One of the macros inserted photos into the report. It literally reduced the time from several hours to a couple of minutes (or less). It worked great for a long time. Then the photo macro started generating errors on some of the computers. But it worked fine on mine. Then my IT folks updated my PC to the newest MS Office. Then my computer started having the same error.
When MS updated Office, they also updated Visual Basic for Applications (which is what is used for the macros). When they updated Office, turns out, they removed several commands. One of them I used in my photo macro.
After visiting several forums, I found out that there were a lot of people that now had their macros failing because MS had removed some of the commands they used. There was no warning. We just started getting errors.
In my case, the solution was to write 3 separate routines to do what the one command did. Talk about a step backwards.
