Just how many versions of "Outlook" are they going to make? None of which have feature parity with the previous version!

Outlook 'desktop' which comes with Office 365: A giant HOG of a bloated program. Herky jerky animations and a terrible UI.

Windows Mail (and calendar): What started off as a very promising project, had vertical sticky monthly scrolling for the calendar, the mail app had a unified inbox... etc. But they stopped updating it for this new web version...

Outlook Web: Bare bones browser version. Probably best used if you don't have your cell phone or laptop or a computer and absolutely have to log in to see your mail and calendar. I guess you can log in from a web browser and get a crappy experience.

The NEW Outlook (basically Web) Preview Beta: Also a messy UI made to mimic Outlook Desktop, which was also messy. No unified folders. No calendar scrolling. Can't copy paste events. I guess microsoft wants consistency in their UI but the problem is when your UI is poorly thought out to begin with, why then be consistent with that UI???? Change it!

The main problem with Microsoft's dozens of mail/calendar 'teams' is they are keeping the poor layout and doing away with the features which people use. Instead of, doing away with the poor layout and keeping the features which people use. Make no mistake, this New Outlook will not last and they will stop updating it in early 2025 and bring in yet another beta/preview mail/calendar app with only 78.6% of the features which the outgoing incomplete outlook had. lol. Yes once again they will have a feedback section essentially consisting of thousands of suggestions to just incorporate the old basic features.

This is absolutely FASCINATING seeing this giant company fail like this over and over and over again.

For those of you who know.. there is clearly a cultural problem at Microsoft, from TOP to bottom.

Look at who is at the top... look at who are now the custodians of Microsoft.. are you surprised?

This is not just incompetence, it's much worse.. its apathy.

Honestly speaking, the cultural problem is in the whole industry ... Mostly uneducated managers celebrating themselves as cloud experts just because they can write the word without spelling mistakes

Yup..... too much coffee, too many meetings, too much walking around. Not enough actual thought into how people use these things.

Microsoft is a legacy company, they live off of the billions they get in Office and Windows licensing from just about every corporation in the world and cloud revenue. They don't care about the INDIVIDUAL user... that is why Apple is eating their lunch. Do you know the #1 device and software used for business today? iPhone and iMessage. Unless a company forces their employees to use 'teams' ... everyone is using iMessage... for sending documents, group chats, etc etc. At home they all have Macbooks and iPads. Microsoft forgot that 'business' is made up of individuals. But hey, you get an arrogant guy from an arrogant culture at the top... it trickles down. Same with Google btw... fail after fail after poor decision. They just live off advertising revenue, everything else is a fail or an experiment.

I don't have that option. Help, then support is an option. Then the unhelpful AI tries to tell me solutions for someone else's problems. Is there some other option?
