Bring back the mouse wheel scroll in Outlook Calendar to the Desktop App

My guess... most likely they will eventually implement calendar "scrolling" but it will be the ridiculous horizontal scrolling like Google Calendar. Jumping screen to screen, but not 'sticky' scroll which is when you can stop scrolling at half month seeing two half months as the same time. We all know microsoft, they either omit a very valuable feature for no apparent reason, or then they do implement it, it's in some very ridiculous way.

The scrolling is a feature that they had but removed in the latest "new" Outlook. We are probably not going to get the scrolling unless there is a lot of pressure from the users. When I first noticed it, I thought it was something I need to adjust in the settings. When I finally contacted Microsoft, I was told that it was removed. It was because the new Outlook application was being designed to look and work like the online version. The online version of the Outlook calendar does not have the scrolling feature. So, they took it out of the desktop application.

It just sounds like lazy programmers. They want they want the two to look and work the same. So, instead of figuring out a way to add the feature to the online version, they took it out of the desktop version.

Somehow they are to much in the mind. The think about months, what most people need is scrolling weeks in rows. Week after week. As it always was 😇

I agree with everyone here who says not allowing to scroll through the months was a very dumb thing to put in place. Makes absolutely no sense at all. PLEASE FIX THIS SOONER THAN LATER!!!
