Import greyed out in Outlook for Mac

Installed Office365/Outlook on a brand new Mac running Monterey and setup my email account. Need to import a PST from previous computer. File > Import (and Export) are greyed out. Mac user is an admin.

    We upgraded to MS365 because our MS Teams trial ran out. Boy are we regretting the upgrade. We kind of forgot why we'd avoid MS for all these years.

    I love it how to remove a calendar you have to go it "Add calendar". Like going to the start menu to shut down.

    Best of all though, since we upgraded we've lost the ability to access the files client's have shared with us via OneDrive because of some issue with an old deleted account of ours blocking us.

    I had this same problem too. Microsoft Support informed me that the new Outlook version has been released for testing purposes and they have not released all the features - this includes the import and export functions. They did not give an estimated timeframe for when the rest of the features will be available, which doesn't inspire confidence considering it's been over year since the new Outlook was released.

    The legacy version of Outlook is the normal version with all the features available so like the others here, I was able to use the export/import features when I reverted back the legacy version. You can switch between the two versions by going Outlook -> New Outlook.

    I hade the same issue and was resolved by switching back to older version.

    In addition to the new version being unusable, the older version is a dumpster fire as well. I came here to find a solution for export/import of calendars because that function is a joke on Mac. It restores to 'on my computer' (which leaves a heap of garbage on your Mac when you finish as a "bonus"), and there is apparently no way to merge it into the desired account so that it syncs with Outlook. I "get" that msft would love for everyone to use their products only, but that is NOT reality. Other companies who have both platforms and products develop their products the same across platforms. The answers on here are not helpful either... :-(

    If only there were a regedit type hack tool for outlook.....teheeeheeee.
