Import greyed out in Outlook for Mac

Installed Office365/Outlook on a brand new Mac running Monterey and setup my email account. Need to import a PST from previous computer. File > Import (and Export) are greyed out. Mac user is an admin.

    i found in the classic mode, but when you will make it available in the new mode

    Hi,

    Still the same problem with Outlook 365 for mac.

    1.

    .OLM export from old version is ok, but import in new version look & feel -> grey out.

    Solution when you export .OLM from old -> switch to new -> select On My Computer -> import option is availble
    Via File Import/ export will be still greyed-out.

    2.

    And

    also in old version is the search option (searching for specific e-mail s) not accessible/ defect/ error!

    only in the new version it works.? This can not be repaired via Mac os spotlight repair. This is also a Microsoft bug!

    I even bought a new Mac 2024 M3 chip, but still the same effect with complete new Office 365 install, so no old mac to new mac.

    Totally agree. useless and one held hostage by my host to use MS.
