I do not want to just export my current outlook calendar events. I want an accurate and current version of my outlook calendar to be viewable in my google calendar.
All the tutorials I have tried only allow exporting. Once I make changes in my outlook calendar, they do not sync when viewed my google calendar.
Wanting to know if there is even a way to do this as I have spent a lot of time trying and failing.

I swore this used to work before. Was able to sync my office outlook calendar to google then it stopped working. Must be company policy.

you must be blind. he clearly said he does not want to export. he wants a current sync of both calendars viewable in the google calendar. I too have been trying this and no luck.
For anyone comfortable with some basic coding, you can install this script which will force Google Calendar to refresh/sync with Outlook at a more frequent interval. I believe by default, using the 'Add Calender -> From URL', it only refreshes every 12/24 hours.
Installing the script just involves copying and pasting a few files. Set-up just involves editing the appropriate fields with the Outlook .ics url, and changing the interval for the refresh timer. More details can be found here: https://github.com/derekantrican/GAS-ICS-Sync?tab=readme-ov-file
A little more complex to set-up than the other share/publish calendar solutions I've seen, but allows for a more frequent sync rate.
