Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar

Since Outlook 365 was updated I can't drag my email to create a calendar event. I do this nearly every day (often multiple times). Bring it back please!!!!

THANK YOU. It worked.
First, @matt_m is my hero for figuring out the My Day workaround. I agree with others, though - this was much easier when you could just drag and drop on the calendar icon. If MS plans to commit to the My Day workflow, then at least make it easier for us somehow.
Were you able to find a solution? I have been so frustrated with the new Outlook. The best workaround I can come up with is to use the "create a meeting request" feature, then when the popup shows up, I delete the original sender so I'm not actually creating a meeting with them. I just need to drop the email into my calendar as a way to schedule my to-do's and projects (I don't like using To-Do).
