Scheduling and managing events using Outlook.com calendar
Is that the NEW Outlook? Do you see the New Outlook in the right top corner of Outlook. When I switch back to the original Outlook 365, dragging email to the calendar works ok.

Since Outlook 365 was updated I can't drag my email to create a calendar event. I do this nearly every day (often multiple times). Bring it back please!!!!

I agree dragging email to the calendar was one of the better features using Outlook.
A LAME work around with the new and unimproved Outlook is to right click the email, Advanced actions, Create task. It's not the same as the convenience as calendar but it does display on the right side of the display as a task. Not very helpful for people using smaller screens.

To be clear you need to click the "my day" icon from the top bar (to the left of minimise, notifications, settings etc.) to expand the my day panel if you don't already have it displayed, then drag the email onto here as you used to with the calendar icon.
Kind of an extra step, but the functionality is still there. Thanks Matthew for pointing this out.
Microsoft, please fix it!
I use drag-from-email-to-calendar multiple times per day. Not having this feature in the "New Outlook" is a show-stopper, so I cannot use the new version in its current state. I'm going back to Classic Outlook for now. Some of the new features are great, but not having this feature doesn't work for me.
