Since Outlook 365 was updated I can't drag my email to create a calendar event.

Well, they definitely did not make it easier (or even keep it as easy as it was), But, it works and I really thank you!

I had reverted back to my old outlook for the last 3 months because of lacking this feature, but I was missing all of the other updated features. Glad I revisited!

At Minimum, I would appreciate a basic outline of "Features Changed" when they update a platform... Whether I like the change or not at least I know what changed and possible work around than to be as frustrated with MS for all these months!!

This is exactly how it used to work. But now, when I do step 2, it creates a "DRAFT" response in the email under the email that I just dragged/drug over to the calendar. The add event area pops up but only a draft email response is created. That's the part that I cant figure out.

Steps I've learned are to use the My Day pane [1], pick the date [2], and then drag the email onto the calendar and it changes to Add as an event [3], You get the email into the appointment [4] and can set it from there. Now just to remember all these steps instead of right-clicking the message!

I also was struggling with this issue. My work around is to use my "preset" quick step that to "create an appointment". When I have the email selected in outlook and then click on my create appointment quick step, it does create the calendar appointment.

Does this put the email into said appointment? That's the part that I miss... I like to open that email from my calendar when I'm making my call vs searching for it.
