I hate the NEW Outlook

It's awful-it feels like a nasty, lightweight webapp that seems to have zero commonality with the Windows 11 UI. Customisation options are bad as well. It was fine up until they decided to break it...and seems less feature-rich and intuitive than the existing version, which feels like a true native applications. Now the existing application seems to have crashing problems. Surprise, surprise-forcing people to use this new junk. Sort it out, Microsoft!

the new Outlook is a giant step back designed by people with no care about what works for customers. This is a huge disappointment.

The only useable feature is the revert to the old Outlook. AT7T did much the same thing when they merged with another customer and then blamed any issues on the "old" AT&T. This is a ridiculous position to put customers in.

The nice portions of the original Outlook like Send/receive button which is eliminated. Even the interface has a picture that is totally blocking useable space. The simple minded people who designed this must need pictures to occupy them. I want a workspace for my emails. I AM NOT VIEWING PICTURES with this program. There is no need to have a stupid picture in the way. I want to open and view Email. Its simple.

MS should be embarrassed, this was as bad of a launch as multiple windows upgrades. i.e. Windows 98, Windows Vista (horrible), windows 2000, Horrible. Quit trying to control everyone's computer as only you want use yours. It's cumbersome. you should ask customers what they want not design a childish design that eats up long time users valuable personal time. Outlook has been much the same interfaced for several years. The "facelift" I find to be nothing that makes the software MORE usable.

I second this, it is horrible and I hope it dies before it's official birth. Even changing language settings has become a chore. I know you can technically set it up so that you don't have to leave the email you are currently writing, going through what feels like a million steps (all of which seem to constantly change, since nothing ever quite matches up with guides on how to do this very simple thing), only to change the language for the entire app not just this one email. But let's be real you should not do this for such simple actions. It should just be there as it always has been. However, the fact that they apparently think its more important to put resources into censoring my private emails than, making sure the language used is actually correct and easy to fix... **** mind-blowing, ooohw sorry I mean "ducking" this is a Microsoft space after all, won't happen again.
Seriously Microsoft set your priorities straight and deliver products that are better and easier to use. Not this garbage that makes me want to shoot myself because, it makes me realize I can't really go without an OS and my only alternatives are Linux and a technological dictatorship.
Microsoft please I beg of you make something decent, the future is bleak enough without you guys destroying the few things left that just work. Plus, I'm to impatient for Linux, making the only alternative a full transfer to the Apple ecosystem. God bless ecosystems that are allergic to basic interconnectivity of devices. Don't you just love it when none of your new and expensive devices actually work together unless they are of the same brand? Well those "Ducks" at Apple certainly do. To me that feels like some kind of brand racism. Like Apple is telling their very pure blood Apple tech not to mingle with the dirty scum tech from "place literally anything not-Apple here", but what do I know. And well, it doesn't really matter, because as a normal person with a normal income, I would like to keep my current debt below 100K and I only have about 96k to go, so that's just not going to cut it... So even if it did allow me to keep some of my **** no thank you Mr. Tim Apple.
Having established that, it seems like my only options are to trust Microsoft to nut **** this up and fix what's already broken. Or death..

In addition to MS Outlook I am finding MS Teams increasingly mystifying. Maybe it's my age but nothing seems simple and intuitive any more. My blood pressure goes through the roof every time I have to do a presentation! I keep asking for Zoom which just seems better.

I soooo agree with your comment on Apple and MS; These enterprises get richer by the day whilst the ordinary Joe suffers their 'improvements' and lack of compatibility with one another. They care little for the good of man kind. And Bill Gates is trying to assuage his guilty conscience using the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. On a positive note, Apple just got fined £1.8Bn by the E.U. (something to do with Spotify) and this is just the start as around the world big tech laviathans power's are to be curbed I understand. Start with these two then onto Meta I hope

But a lot of damage has already been done; remember the Microsoft motto: Embrace-Extend-Extinguish- thus they have driven out almost all competition and with it, innovation for the common good.

Here in the UK the Monopolies and Merger Commission (now the Competition and Markets Authority) would have shut them down decades ago!

Glad to see that maybe, just maybe the world is finally waking up to these ALL POWERFUL tech monsters!
