I hate the NEW Outlook

I have been trying to run the "NEW" outlook for a few months now. It is SOOO frustrating to use as commands and functions have just been deleted. Adding files to an email has become a chore and now requires extra steps! I DON'T want to send a link; I want to send the file itself... it is so confusing.
Viewing an attachment becomes a whole new experience as it doesn't open the app related to the file type but leads you down more complicated corridors. Saving attachments is also time consuming as it saves it (unless you are careful) in some sort of folder on One Drive.
I run three accounts (corporate, outlook.com and gmail.com) on mail plus I monitor a few shared folders as well. What used to be simple is now a real chore! Want to change how often in checks for mail... forget it. want to change the functions when it goes to get the mail. Completely disappeared.

Switching back to the "old version" froze the application as it could not update the Outlook account. It is a real tragedy that we seem to have to accept this as the "only" version soon. I am already looking around for alternatives. I have now reverted back to "OLD" and fixed the problem with mail. I have send a note to the organization to NEVER try and load this cut down version... it is a terrible replacement.

Come on Microsoft, you can do better than this.... or is it impossible!!

    This new OUTLOOK is so unintuitive. All the useful commands and actions have been removed

    Auto bullet spacing is unamendable.

    Autocorrect doesn't exist

    Nothing works like it is supposed to

    PLEASE bring back the previous Outlook

    Please don't justify your job/ position by changing something that was working into something unworkable and unuseable, not intuitive, not user-friendly.

    Absolutely horrible. It's supposed to be so fancy, but I can't even figure out how to add an airline ticket to my calendar from an email. Just impossible.

    I'll preface this by saying I usually love change. It's hard but I also find it exciting.

    This is the absolute worst software update in the entire Microsoft Office system since computers started using Microsoft. And yes, I am that old. I'm so tired of sending why I hate the new Outlook to Microsoft every morning when I switch back to the old one that I wont even document the travesty of the changes. I am just glad I 'm not the only one and I just hope they resolve these problems before I no longer can switch to the old Outlook.

    Agree completely. This new Outlook is one of the worst "updates" I have ever seen. I have been a Hotmail/Outlook user for as long as it has existed, and for the first time, I am going to have to find something else I can actually use. This completely sucks.

    I too was struggling to add a file to a reply. Such an unintuitive UI.

    The thing I really hate with a passion is no longer being able to see if I have unread emails to my various account unless you have the LHS account folder expanded. There's not enough room to see three inboxes expanded!

    I also managed to crash Outlook within a minute, so it's not only the UI designers who have made a mess of it.
