Did quick parts disappear with the new outlook? I can't access my old quick parts or make new ones.

What a really unsatisfactory reply. Although it may all be true it is so poor to remove functions that clearly many people rely on. A work around is obviously possible but why should it be necessary. Product development should be a move forward not backwards.

Hey no offense intended, I like the New Outlook because it is so lightweight. It doesn't store local data, it is basically a slightly improved Outlook Web Access. Microsoft Outlook Classic was starting to resemble bloatware. It was trying to be something for everyone. We are currently migrating people to the New Outlook and people like me who enjoy a lightweight mail client love it, the power users don't like it so much. OR people who have built a workflow around the advanced features of Classic Outlook don't like it because their old workflows wont work with the New Outlook. So far we are approx. 50/50 in people being satisfied, however, I think Microsoft will pull the pin on the Classic Outlook because its codebase must be getting really hard to keep compatible with new OS features. So I am telling customers who hate it that they may have to adapt, because the classic one will disappear some day, just like Skype for business.

Bring back Quickparts and dont make me have to rewrite everything I have created in the old outlook!

Great for text but I had quick parts that were large and made with images etc for software update alerts. Of course Microsoft updates something and doesn't bring in every feature.

This is so not okay... As someone who uses Quickparts, I have recently upgraded my Outlook and now all of my quick parts are gone. It is baffling to understand how this hasn't been rectified and this question was posted in April 2023 and it is now August 2024
