Signatures in New Outlook for Mac have disappeared

On July 6 I installed the updates v16.63 (2207500) and in New Outlook the signatures from all four of the email accounts I have, have all disappeared. They are not visible in SIgnatures, and the '+' button in Edit Signatures does nothing – I can't recreate the signatures. I've upgraded to v16.63 (22070801) but no change.

I switched back to Legacy Outlook nd the signatures were all there, and I could edit and add signatures. Switching back to New Outlook, my signatures had reappeared, but once I restarted my MacBook, in New Outlook the signatures are not present and I cannot add any.

MacBook Pro (2012)

Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.7

Microsoft 365 Business Standard

Any help gracefully received. I've tried the customer Customer Support button but the chat responses are painfully slow - conversation has been going on since July 7th with diagnostic questions taking 18-48 hours to appear.

I have had the same issue now for over a week. I have tried all the usual fixes, delete the app, and reinstall, but nothing. Not having a signature working is not a small issue but BIG. I am shocked it's this bad, and there is still no new update. I switched back to Legacy, though my old signatures were still connecting to email; when creating a new one and choosing which signature belonged to which email - this doesn't work also. So "new outlook" doesn't work at all, and even Legacy Outlook only works 50% with signatures.

When will this be fixed MS??

I am M1 Chip Macbook Pro 2021 model running the latest Mac Os.

Once the profile has been created, the signature was fine. But when the workstation restarted, the signature disappear again. Any updates about this?

I reverted back to the old outlook by following this screenshot and signatures reappeared. I restarted outlook and then went back to the new outlook and signatures were still gone. I went back to my old outlook. It had an annoying incident of updating and not remembering activities that had been dismissed and kept "dinging" for like 5 minutes. Ridiculous. At least I've got my signature back. as a lawyer it's really important for me to have a signature automatically inserted with disclaimer information. A signature isn't nice to have - it's mission-essential - C'mon MS Outlook team!

    Hi Melissa,

For me, you can just untick the 'New Outlook' button under the main file selection, see attached screenshot for reference. It will close outlook and restart it in the old version.

    Thanks

    Stuart
