Signatures in New Outlook for Mac have disappeared

On July 6 I installed the updates v16.63 (2207500) and in New Outlook the signatures from all four of the email accounts I have, have all disappeared. They are not visible in SIgnatures, and the '+' button in Edit Signatures does nothing – I can't recreate the signatures. I've upgraded to v16.63 (22070801) but no change.

I switched back to Legacy Outlook nd the signatures were all there, and I could edit and add signatures. Switching back to New Outlook, my signatures had reappeared, but once I restarted my MacBook, in New Outlook the signatures are not present and I cannot add any.

MacBook Pro (2012)

Mac OS Catalina Version 10.15.7

Microsoft 365 Business Standard

Any help gracefully received. I've tried the customer Customer Support button but the chat responses are painfully slow - conversation has been going on since July 7th with diagnostic questions taking 18-48 hours to appear.

    Thanks - great info.

    Can Outlook be reverted in case other issues pop up?

    You could always re-install, and change the updates from Beta back to "Current Channel" if needed.

    MacBook Air (M1 2020)

    Monterey 12.4

    Started happening TODAY, 7/27, but only after a restart

    I have 4 Signatures for just one company, and two others where I am an Independent Director.

    This really cripples my effectiveness.

    will have to switch to ICLOUD client until this gets fixed.

    help!

    Confirmed OLD OUTLOOK has the base functionality back.

    will use this for now - until fix has been found. thx

    Same issue.

    Specs

    • macOS Monterey v12.4
    • MacBook Pro (M1), 2021
    • Outlook v16.63

    Timeline

    • 7/15/2022: Office 365 AutoUpdate installed v16.63 (Current Channel)
    • 7/25/2022
      • ~8:30am: Identified issue when checking Monday morning emails ~8:30am CT. Issue did not occur when working on Friday, 7/22/22.
        • On my MacBook, Outlook Preferences > Signatures > my 2 standard signatures were missing; unable to (+) add new signature
        • In Outlook Online, tried creating New Message. Signature listed was old (it had my previous work title from early 2021).
        • In Outlook Online, Settings > Mail > Compose and reply > old signature is not listed as an option; however, an option to rename/ delete 'Outlook Web Signature' was available but it is blank;
      • ~9:00am:
        • On my MacBook, Outlook Preferences > Signatures > my 2 standard signatures were there, along with multiple 'untitled' signatures that noted my last name, first name in the signature preview. I was able to delete the unwanted 'untitled' signatures. Tested (+) adding a new signature, which opened up Notepad and my last name, first name was in the notepad. When I closed Notepad, an 'untitled' signature with my last name, first name was created.
      • ~9:20am
        • On my MacBook, created New Message and the correct email signature was included
        • In Outlook Online, tried creating New Message. Signature is still the old one from early 2021
        • In Outlook Online, Settings > Mail > Compose and reply > same as before... old signature is not listed as an option; however, an option to rename/ delete 'Outlook Web Signature' was available but it is blank;
