Since early December all of our Outlook365 users (in all tenants) have been getting the tag [External] in the subject line of their Outlook, and want it removed. I am only finding PS scripts which do not work. I have searched the settings and security areas of the admin console but have not found anything. Please help!

Sounds like this thread is getting a little punchy so I will lock it. Let's all point the finger towards Microsoft development team as they are the ones doing these Knee jerk "feature updates" without offering an opt out solution for the sysadmins.

I removed all my offensive replies that add nothing to the discussion. You may leave it unlocked or lock it. Your choice.
I do not want to disable the external function (thus NOT using Set-ExternalInOutlook -Enabled $false), but just hide the "External" hint in the message list view, because it takes away much room.
Is it possible to just hide that "External" notice in the messsage list within Outlook and not to disable the function completely?
