Since early December all of our Outlook365 users (in all tenants) have been getting the tag [External] in the subject line of their Outlook, and want it removed. I am only finding PS scripts which do not work. I have searched the settings and security areas of the admin console but have not found anything. Please help!

I would love to hear about that as well as it is very annoying and hard to find emails.
What a mess!! My inbox is now littered with the word "External" even when it's notifying me of DevOps or Teams messages. If Microsoft are wanting to provide features like this then at least allow users to remove it themselves!
When will this be updated in a new release please?

I also have a similar question but I'm not an admin who has the power to go disable all external email warnings, I'm an end user for an engineering firm. I get a lot of emails from outside my company who are trusted email addresses. If I can't disable "Caution: eternal email" banner at the top of all emails, can I at least add the trusted email addresses to a list so those don't get flagged as 'external'? It's annoying as **** that such a huge portion of the readable space is taken up with a banner letting me know I have an email from outside my organization even though it's a known / safe email address. I just want to be able to read the message content, not stupid unnecessary warnings.
