how to set email rules in new version of Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2023.516.100 (Production)

I agree. UGH!! I guess I'll go back to the old one. Not sure how long it will allow me use it.

Only reason I went to New Outlook is because I cannot add a new gmail account to the old one. Outlook needs to be "updated" for gmail's new security protocols so I had to go to new one. I require rules so I am currently in a bad spot. This thread is over a year's worth of customers asking Microsoft to fix this rules issue in new outlook. Can they finally do it for crying out loud? Because I may need to switch to Thunderbird at this point! Then we go with why am I keeping the whole 365 suite??? Give me a reason Microsoft.

To my understanding, when talking to Micrsoft yesterday, if your Domaine name is not registered with them, you will never be able to create rules.

Given that rules work just fine with the "old" Outlook, that sounds like they're giving excuses. They can clearly have rules working with gmail etc. just fine. And if the rules are applying at the client end (not on the server) then it shouldn't matter WHERE the mail comes from, as the rules apply in the outlook client itself!

Yea, I'm not sure what to say. I'm just going to deal with it or go back to the old version.
