Removing rules for IMAP accounts for both the New Outlook and Old Outook is a land grab!

If some genius at Microsoft believes that people are suddenly going to switch to outlook.com, he/she needs to talk to users. I am appalled.

I'm going to stop using Outlook and just go for a IMAP email that wants to make users more productive, not just fill Microsoft's coffers.

I'm also going to write to Mr. Nadella, I'm sure he is not aware of this.

In my version of New Outlook I do not have the option to create rules, either from the configuration or with the right click on an email

Agree! Why bother with rules if they don't automatically run and you have to manually run them one at a time each time you open mail?
