I would be nice to have an update on this thread. Is this feature coming to the "new" outlook for gmail accounts or should I just revert to the "old" outlook? Is there a (public) roadmap for the features being brought forward into the "new" outlook?
Microsoft seems deaf to the needs of its customer base. I have to say I am disappointed. I've already switched back and as someone above said, Thunderbird is next.
It would be nice to be at least acknowledged but then I doubt anyone is monitoring this discussion.
Once again MS does not make it easy, you've only been making life harder since Office2003! I have an idea - make things more reliable before adding more features that no one likes!
This must be changed to allow functionality for all accounts. I came to outlook from gmail, then switched to the new Outlook. It's back to gmail otherwise. This is a bad decision to disallow rules.
Agree! Why bother with rules if they don't automatically run and you have to manually run them one at a time each time you open mail?
