    I have the same issue. I find it incredible that Microsoft is turning a blind eye to the simple issue. It is a fundamental option to have that they had working fine in old Outlook.

    In my version of Outlook, right clicking on an email does not give the option of Advanced Actions. and therefore rules cannot be set.

    when i go to

    settings - Mail - rules

    this is the screen i receive....

    These settings are applied at the account level:

    cedar.glen@XXXXXXX

    Inbox rules are not supported for the selected account.

    Why? in classic outlook - this account was supported

    The steps you outlined do not exist in current Outlook 20240315003.09 .
