Outlook App on Android keeps crashing when trying to open an email

My Outlook App won't open. I'm receiving notifications that I'm getting new mail and I can read the first couple of lines (in the notification ) but if I want to open the email to read the who thing by double clicking on it the email tries to open through the app and this crashes. To resolve this, I've already updated all the apps on my phone, rebooted the phone twice (once with a full reset). I have then tried to uninstall the outlook app and reinstall it but it says you need to deactivate the app first and you can't do this. I've also checked that the rest of the MS apps are working (word / excel etc) and they seem to be opening fine

Not sure how to resolve this issue as I didn't realise how much I read my emails on my phone until this glitch happened!

I hope you wonderful community can explain what's happening and how to resolve it

What Model phone is this happening for you with?

We are noticing this is only happening with Samsung A13's but i am also seeing people mention this is happening with iOS devices.

Mine is also a Samsung Galaxy A10 though I've managed to fix the problem now. Not sure how I did it but fiddled around with my e.mail settings and it now works.

I have exactly the same issue with 4.2243.1 on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A SM-T510 running Android 11.  However, it works on my Moto G8 Plus running Android 10.

As this seems to have been caused by 4.2243.1 does anyone know how to roll back to an earlier version. I have found APK for older versions but can't get them to install even using APK Installer
