My Outlook App won't open. I'm receiving notifications that I'm getting new mail and I can read the first couple of lines (in the notification ) but if I want to open the email to read the who thing by double clicking on it the email tries to open through the app and this crashes. To resolve this, I've already updated all the apps on my phone, rebooted the phone twice (once with a full reset). I have then tried to uninstall the outlook app and reinstall it but it says you need to deactivate the app first and you can't do this. I've also checked that the rest of the MS apps are working (word / excel etc) and they seem to be opening fine
Not sure how to resolve this issue as I didn't realise how much I read my emails on my phone until this glitch happened!

Yes with 4.2243.1 my Tab A crashed in the same way as peoples A13's, Outlook would load but crash straight away. Installing 4.2242.1 from the Galaxy Store resolved this and 4.2244.1 also seems to work.
App still doesn't work. It closes in 3 seconds after opening. Samsung A13. It affects so many users that I am shocked that Microsoft still doesn't resolved this issue. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.office.outlook&hl=PL We can not use version from galaxy store, because we use Intune.

Same here. Also Galaxy A10 / Android 11. Only started yesterday. Have tried uninstalling outlook, office, clearing outlook app cache & data, clearing browser history, reinstalling everything from scratch. Nothing. Outlook doesn't even stay open long enough to connect to my MS account. Get this sorted, Microsoft - NOW.
did u try to install the older version from Galaxy store? (if not, u also need to turn off the updates for outlook after you install the older version)
This is not a valid workaround for Coporate managed devices as the Galaxy Store apps are not available to these devices
