I mostly use only my keyboard to type, the dropdown option on the keyboard makes it extremely convenient to access the spell check options. This is a right click function, since changing it to left click this functionality has been lost.
Having to stop typing and using the mouse to left click every time is iritating and frankly a waste of time / disruptive. It makes no sense to change a function that has been a staple since the start of spellchecking without providing an option to change it back!!

I'm having the same issue as previously stated. The outlook desk app will show misspelled works but there's no way to correct them. I also noticed the pop up menu isn't available so I can't copy paste items into an email. These features are available in the web version.
...Now April 2024 and still not fixed. Why??? This is maddening.
This used to work for me and now suddenly does not as of 4/9/24. i have looked through all settings and did not change anything recently. my outlook app was open and after restarting and closeing the window/ computer it still does not allow spell check. just when i got used to the new outlook. Welp back to old outlook with reliable features
You are a three TRILLION dollar company and can't fix this?
SOLUTION!!!! Toggle the "new outlook" button in the top right of outlook to off. This will resolve the spell check issue!!
Go figure in trying to provide a solution, microsofts webpage is throwing an error when I attempt to upload a picture of the "new outlook" toggle button.
