I mostly use only my keyboard to type, the dropdown option on the keyboard makes it extremely convenient to access the spell check options. This is a right click function, since changing it to left click this functionality has been lost.
Having to stop typing and using the mouse to left click every time is iritating and frankly a waste of time / disruptive. It makes no sense to change a function that has been a staple since the start of spellchecking without providing an option to change it back!!

Initially when I installed this new outlook I was able to use autocorrect maybe between Jan 2024 and April 2024, but for the past moth I started to have the same issue as others have mentioned here. It seems as this is an ongoing problem that has ben going on for over an year now.
Could someone please look into it?
This is ridiculous. I use this functionality all day and now its gone in the "improved" version. Do the workers in Microsoft actually use their own product? And you replaced this useful option with the ability to add an emoji??? This is what happens when there is a lack of competition.
All of the other M365 products have spell check from Right-Click, except the new Outlook. Why does this one product use a different convention?
Given the push from Microsoft, this no longer feels like a beta product, but a refactor project that isn't listening to this base. Other features missing are right click to send to OneNote. For email, this has to be done by clicking in to additional places in the reading pane. In the calendar you must open the event, then Click send to OneNote.
I tried this on the 06/05/2024 and still does not bring up any corrections options whether you right or left click.
Finding it impossible to currently use the windows outloook app when composing emails due to this function not working!
Yeah. It's not a feature in this new Outlook version. For that reason among other missing features, I switched back to the classic version.
