Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments
Do you know if the already sent emails that were not synced are then synced up to the server?

Hello,
Has anyone seen an issue where the outlook app on MacBook pro is not syncing sent messages in the local sent folder with the sent folder on the email server? This issue is for a domain and email hosted through a 3rd party hosting provider. The outlook app uses IMAP settings to connect to the email account.
The emails, however, are being sent to the destination, and it is just that a copy stored in the sent folder of the outlook app is not syncing with that of the email server through IMAP.
I would appreciate any ideas on how to fix this. Many thanks for considering my request.

I don't think they were.
I have the same problem, but before removing the account I should copy all sent mail; I I hope there will soon be another solution.
While the issue of sent email being saved in the draft folder instead of sent is fixed, there are still issue with the SENT folder in general. I can see the entire list of sent email via another client (Mac Mail) but not in Outlook (that show only the daily). The "Load More Conversation" option have no effect. I've opened another ticket (!!)
Just tried the Beta of 16.64 (22073100), and this is still not fixed. Upon loading the new version I tried sending a test message, Outlook showed the message in the sent folder, but when I checked my IMAP server via webmail, it does not show the message in the sent folder. But I confirmed the message was in fact sent, as my work email address (that I used as the test recipient) received the message.
So, this is still unfixed. Reverting back to Legacy Outlook seems to fix the issue, but then I lose all access to my iCloud calendars. I also tried removing the IMAP account, and adding it back without Microsoft Cloud Syncing in the new outlook. That seems to work temporarily, but then the SENT folder seems to disappear entirely after exiting and coming back into Outlook (what Ermanno described above). So that's not a solution either.
Come on, Microsoft!! This has been out there for over half a year!
