Hello,
Has anyone seen an issue where the outlook app on MacBook pro is not syncing sent messages in the local sent folder with the sent folder on the email server? This issue is for a domain and email hosted through a 3rd party hosting provider. The outlook app uses IMAP settings to connect to the email account.
The emails, however, are being sent to the destination, and it is just that a copy stored in the sent folder of the outlook app is not syncing with that of the email server through IMAP.
I would appreciate any ideas on how to fix this. Many thanks for considering my request.

I had the same issue as all of you, fixed it with installing thunderbird on my mac and copied all emails from the sent outlook folder to a temp folder in thunderbird in the same email account and then moved it to the sent folder in thunderbird. voila
took me hours because of 7 accounts but worked well.

Same issue still pending, contacted support 3 times and all ticket were closed with no solution. Using the Microsoft Sync Technologies only makes problem bigger because also do not sync the subfolder of the inbox (archive) you have created previously. They all appear empty, no matter how long you wait or force sync. They (thanks god) are back if I reconfigure the account NOT using Microsoft Sync, but than all sent email are saved in draft, not sent folder, even if in real are sent.
I'm not sure why they are not addressing this sync with IMAP sent mail folder issue. You can switch back to legacy Outlook for Mac with the toggle switch at the top of the screen. That works fine, but I still wish they would fix the problem with the new Outlook.
You are right, but I have a collegue having months of sent email not syncing with the IMAP account and, returning on the old outlook version, there's no way to have them back!
Today update (in the beta channel), v 16.63 (22062300) fix the issue of IMAP sent email sync (using Direct SYNC not Microsoft SYNC), finally.
I did few test and all seems to work
