Outlook for MAC is not syncing sent folder for IMAP account

Hello,

Has anyone seen an issue where the outlook app on MacBook pro is not syncing sent messages in the local sent folder with the sent folder on the email server? This issue is for a domain and email hosted through a 3rd party hosting provider. The outlook app uses IMAP settings to connect to the email account.

The emails, however, are being sent to the destination, and it is just that a copy stored in the sent folder of the outlook app is not syncing with that of the email server through IMAP.

I would appreciate any ideas on how to fix this. Many thanks for considering my request.

    Unfortunately the newest general release version has not fixed this issue (although I haven't gone down the beta release path yet).

    I just bought a new MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip, Monterey, and I'm having the same exact problem.

    It's a shame, since I absolutely love both the new laptop and Outlook with iOS and Windows 11 until this "MAC is not syncing sent folder for IMAP account" issue.

    I hope Microsoft and Apple resolve this soon.

    There is a new update for outlook. Does anyone knows if this update fixes the problem with syncing sent emails?

    Same issue here. It is really a shame the M$ is not able to resolve this issue. I expect them to force us in the upcoming months to switch to the new outlook version. If that is the case, I will ditch outlook and revert to Apple Mail.
