Cannot manually sort folders with new Outlook

Hi All

I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.

Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).

Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.

It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.

Can anyone assist?

Thank you

Thomas

It has been 6 months of waiting when will this be addressed. Alpha sort should be an option you can turn on and off.

Can someone from Microsoft as least RESPOND to this thread as to whether or not this is being looked at? Obviously there are a large amount of people who are in need of this feature. I will be returning to Classic until this feature is available in the new Outlook....
