Cannot manually sort folders with new Outlook

Hi All

I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.

Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).

Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.

It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.

Can anyone assist?

Thank you

Thomas

From the Ribbon, select Folder pane -> Sort folders -> Order folders A to Z.

That should work. If not, wait for the program to update. Mine updated last week, so I can only presume that Microsoft is rolling it out slowly.

Still can't sort or disable Calendars and Contacts by account. Many users have different accounts; for example, one might use iCloud for contact management, gmail for email and Outlook for a URL subscription work calendar.

Currently, there is no way to prioritize one account or to hide it or to move it up or down in the Calendar and Contact section.

Please add the ability to hide Calendar and Contact accounts, and to rearrange them.
