Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?

Just adding my 1 cents to this. Being able to manually rearrange folders is really important to me and the way I work. I have gone back to classic Outlook. Hopefully this functionality is added to New Outlook before they remove the ability to use Classic Outlook.

Not sure if this has been mentioned or will work for everyone, but I noticed if you open the WEB version (login into your M365 via browser and access Outlook), you should see your folders automatically sorted in alphabetical order. After accessing the web version, if your desktop version is open, close it and reopen. Folders should now be in alphabetical order. Hope this helps.
The thing is, that it is not supposed to change it in alphabetic order. The users expect the functionality like in the "old" outlook: Manual sorting and if necessary alphabetic sorting over the context menu.
