Cannot manually sort folders with new Outlook

Hi All

I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.

Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).

Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.

It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.

Can anyone assist?

Thank you

Thomas

This is so so so important. I really enjoyed some of the new features, but not being able to manually sort folders feels like a shiny new car with NO steering wheel. Definitely going back to classic. It's so annoying when in the quest to simplify Microsoft damages its own functionality.

Mine and my employees business accounts will be staying with the old version of Outlook. At least we can customise the folder order to have our most accessed sub folders first rather than wasting time scrolling through 50+ folders to access and file what we need.

How long until this is fixed?
