Cannot manually sort folders with new Outlook

Hi All

I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.

Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).

Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.

It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.

Can anyone assist?

Thank you

Thomas

    Hey,

Unsure if this has been officially solved yet, but I "switched" back to the old Outlook, and then back to the new one and all folders were sorted alphabetically!

    Thanks

This did work! But yuck, not a fix. I did take the opportunity to provide feedback when Outlook asked why I was changing to the old version.

I too have wasted many hours trying to figure out how to rearrange folders in the "New Outlook." How much longer will "WE" have to wait before Microsoft takes this issue seriously.

I definitely need this to work as well!

    Have you found a solution?

I heard today that my organization is migrating to the new outlook and apparently soon won't support the classic...
