Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?

Ahahaha...this thread is becoming a joke. Such a simple implementation, and no one at Microsoft cares.
Yeah, we need Microsoft to implement this into their New Version of Outlook :( I've been waiting a year QQ
The fact nobody from Microsoft has engaged or responded to this thread, in such a long time, is certainly very worrying. It does give the impression that they don't care.
Even if they replied with "Yeah sorry we can't do it yet, because X Y Z" at least then they're managing our expectations & acknowledging the issue. But the radio silence is deafening :(
There are only a handful of MS default folders, so Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, and the few others at the top will stay. But for all of the folders that the user creates, this trick should work.
It's now 2024, and this issue still hasn't been solved. Hopefully bumping this again as it needs sorting
