Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
How has this not been implemented yet? It's been almost 10 months since it was flagged

Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?
Thank you
Thomas

Good question. Seems Microsoft (all the tech companies) they just don't care or have too many things to fix so they ask us to bump stuff and then we must w8 for +years until even the smallest and most basic issues are even looked at. It's just crazy.
Why has this not been implemented? It's been almost a year since this was posted. There's absolutely no reason for you to just completely ignore all of our complaints and do whatever you want. Your product development team is clearly not committed to anything because nothing has changed.
And I just went back to classic just because of this. I can't believe something as simple as moving folders around can be so difficult to implement.

Same here, actually the whole company +160 people. Not possible to work in New Outlook for us because of this and some other things that has not been implemented yet, It's just absolutely ridiculous.
