Cannot manually sort folders with new Outlook

Hi All

I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.

Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).

Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.

It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.

Can anyone assist?

Thank you

Thomas

I mean it would be nice if I could even get the folders to sort alphabetically, but apparently that is no longer an option in the app starting last week.

This is a vital function for anyone who's company uses Outlook but especially for those receiving hundreds of emails a day. Please make this a high priority and include in the next release/update. Thank you

Bump!!! My office has transitioned to the new outlook and as a leadership team there are many folders for different projects, topics, etc. so it is increasingly frustrating to be unable to move or sort folders in this version! Please, please understand the importance of this function for everyone but especially those of us with a high-volume work inbox.

Nearly everyone in our organization organizes their outlook folders. So we all hope as Microsoft finished up their development of the New Outlook that they add back in the ability to organize folders.
