Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Please confirm if there is a solution to this issue. I organize my files based on addresses and outlook is now organizing them incorrectly.

Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?
Thank you
Thomas

Please sort this out - there are neat integrations between New Teams and New Outlook, but there is still basic stuff missing in New Outlook.
This is an ongoing issue with the new Outlook.
It defies understanding as to why Microsoft would just remove functionality from their software when a new version is developed.
It's sad that even Microsoft employees are asking for this basic function.
When will this be fixed??
Yes, definitely needed here too! It's frustrating to not have it as a function...
