Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?

Can this feature be added ASAP! This is a critical functionality that no longer exists. Want to organize my email into folders and arrange priority folders or dated folders on top. Current situation is unusable. Return this feature please.
Two things to add that are problem. You can move a folder to favorities though it doesnt move the subfolders under that that favorite. Also, you mention you can go back to classic outlook, though we are having trouble with that option. For some reason when you switch and then switch back to classic you lose the ability to create a MS Teams outlook calendar invitation. So now forced to only use the new outlook.
What a frustrating change!!!!! I did figure out a work around that is working for me. I added all of the folders I needed to reorganize into my favorites. For some reason in the favorites menu, you can rearrange the folders like we used to. I added probably 40 folders with no issues. Hope that helps.
Also it doesn't seem to be a setting to have all folders collapsed when you are moving messages to it's respective folder. You need to scroll through multiple folders and subfolders before finding the folder that you want. Very, very annoying.
I'm also very disappointed that this issue has not been addressed yet. Also, copying attachments to add to a new email is also not possible!
