Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?
Thank you
Thomas

Can we PLEASE get an update. Users are DESPERATE for better functionality which will improve higher acceptance of the new format.
I have my folders the same way this is so important!
but again, this just simply isn't what we're talking about. It is quite a hinderance to not be able to manually sort my folders managing folders that coincide with a timeline. If i tried to number them, i'd constantly be re-numbering all.
Not even part of it? Because I see reports on this thread of others stating they can't even get folders to sort in alphabetical order. At least with OP, his emails were sorted in alphabetical order. I get it...it's a shame we can't manually sort but imagine having NO sort?!
So I'm sorry my solution isn't aimed at you, but it will work for the others who, at the very least, need their folders sorted alphabetically...
