Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi,
Absolutely agree that this is a must have functionality and would love to be able to colour the folders as well to align with my calendar categories.

Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?
Thank you
Thomas

I don't have the option to give feedback, but I second having the ability to easily move folders, I would also like to lobby for the ability to add a color option to the folders. Pretty please!
This reply was over a year ago and the problem still persists. I have been forced into using the new outlook as features on the previous version stop working, and now the new version doesn't have baseline functionality that the prior version had. As others have also expressed, I use many folders to sort messages, and the specific order in which I place those folders impacts my ability to work efficiently.
FIX THIS NOW.
It is wildly unacceptable to push users into new software that fails to maintain basic features that the previous software had.
