Hi All
I'm loving the new Outlook, however I'm having real difficulty manually sorting my email folders.
Clicking & dragging the folder, only allows me to drop the folder INTO another folder, but doesn't allow me to drop it in between other folders (meaning I cannot re-arrange / sort the folders manually).
Right clicking the folder and clicking "Move", again only allows me to move the folder INTO another folder. There is no "move up or down" option unfortunately.
It is currently sorting my folders in alphabetical order, but I wish to change this. I have been through all the settings and cannot find anywhere I can manually sort my email folders.
Can anyone assist?
Thank you
Thomas

Let me second (third and fourth) that motion!
I have a similar problem with folders not being moveable-> aside from my main account two other mailboxes are shared with me that I need to keep an eye on. But they automatically drop to the end of the list and are located in "Shared with me" folder. I can't move those inboxes to my favourites or up the list so they are right near my main inbox. I need to keep an eye on all three simultaneously and right now it is challenging - my list of folders etc is so long that the "Shared with me " folder is so far down the list it doesn't even show up on the laptop screen. Very disappointed. New Outlook looks pretty but seems to have some serious downsides as it is now.
Hello
In the classic outlook change the following
Folder -->show all folders A to Z
Thanks
I agree with everything users wrote above.
Just want to add that I have many nested folders grouped by categories. If I drag a parent folder to Favorites it doesn't allow to see and move to child ones from there.
It would be unuseful to move child folders to Favorites because they are too many and their name makes sense only inside the parent folder.
absolutely correct
Thanks for confirming that it was, indeed working!!
They seem to be closer to a fix.... YAAAAY!!
