New Outlook - Where is the option for the "Search Folders" where we can save searches ?

The search folder was there for me yesterday Nov 7th, today, gone....I use the Unread Emails folder as a Fav to make my mail processing so much faster (I have many rules to filter emails to folders)

When MS claims this functionality was removed due to use feedback, I am calling that out as false, more like MS typical remove all the features the previous product had, and slowly add them back as user complain.

I agree. I see this as a "we don't like any of the UX designs we have tried so far" combined with an 80/20 (meaning the "power users" are not a significant enough component of the user base to warrant development teams working on this.

To me, it is indispensable, so I am just on Classic. If (at some point) Classic goes away, I will probably use Thunderbird or eM Client. I basically abandoned em Client (which I paid for) because the calendar integration kept breaking and I spend all day in meetings (please send help) so I need good, integrated calendar ops so back to Outlook.

Mine disappeared and then reappeared after a restart.

Providing my own use case for the old functionality of Search Folders:

I work with several vendors, but primarily with just one of them. I want to keep them in their own folders (Vendor A, Vendor B, Vendor C) for organization.

Since I work the most with vendor A, I want to see their unread emails along with my regular unread inbox. I check vendors B & C's mail as needed.

As a workaround, I am considering updating the rules that move emails to various folders to include "and mark read" as a step. While this would take care of paring down the "unread" search folder, this isn't ideal; I want to be able to see when I have new mail from vendors B & C (bolded folder w/unread count), and I don't want to make it look like I've read something from them if I haven't really done so (including read receipts).

This was all accomplished with the previous configuration of the Search Folders functionality that is currently absent from New Outlook.

Same issue here, this was one of my most used features for email management...

Come on MS, don't tell me saving an advanced search is this hard?
