Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments
@rocleaner, et all - The problems we all are facing seem unique to onlyOutlook on the Mac. I am running “Classic” Outlook on my Windows 10 system (not called Legacy in Windows world) with absolutely no problem with Yahoo/AOL folders ghosting and I can run rules, move mail folders between accounts and use all the other customizing functions. Anything I do in Outlook on my Windows machine synchs correctly with my Mac. I have read that Classic Outlook for Windows will be around for a long time.
Clearly, Legacy Outlook on the Mac has one foot in the grave and M$ is about to bury it. M$ just hasn’t posted the obit yet. Plus, there is no love lost between Apple & M$ and I suspect the number of Apple Outlook users pales compared to Windows users. Not worth it to M$?
So Microsoft’s solution for us Mac users is migrate to their crippled and work in progress New Outlook while we take your $$ for MS365.
