I can't believe I have to ask something so dumb but how to I make Outlook ask me every time where to save the email attachments that I am downloading instead of automatically putting them in the Downloads folder?

Outlook | Windows | Classic Outlook for Windows | For home

This needs to be fixed next to a few other visual problems (contrast!, visibility, group by date has a very low visibility etc.)

But please add the posibility to "save as" attachements....

Adding my frustration here as well, at this oversight of something so basic. You have made this new version HARDER to use day-to-day. New versions should be EASIER!

Same issue, different flavour - New Outlook desktop client, I click "Download" and it downloads to my OneDrive. Took me like an hour to figure out where the heck those files were going. There is a separate selection for "View in Onedrive", but currently it seems "Download" does the same thing?

Not cool. "Download" means locally, for offline purposes.

    I hope this gets fixed!

I doubt this is an oversight, MS Teams got the exact same behavior.
May be an way of promoting OneDrive?

Same thing when mine switched to the new version. Ridiculous that they remove something so necessary.
