I can't believe I have to ask something so dumb but how to I make Outlook ask me every time where to save the email attachments that I am downloading instead of automatically putting them in the Downloads folder?

I can select download and it brings up the window for me to pick the folder/ location I want it....I personally would like the option to select a folder as default and it would just drop it all there. It was dropping everything in my downloads folder, but now it asks me everytime...SUPER annoying. Why cant we have a "download" option that puts it in our downloads folder and a "save as" option that allows us to customize it?
Once again, Microsoft screwing things up.
Hi Team,
I do have the similar issues, When I am trying to download any attachments by default it's going to the download path.
For your information, I am not using web mail I am using "Out look New" app in my laptop.
Outlooki version 1.2024.207.500 (Production) wiht client version 20240209002.12 is not asking where to save.
Did they turned off the "save as" function? Are others having similar experience?
I have the same versions
You have Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2024.207.500 (Production). Client Version is 20240209002.12 .
And I am asked where to save the attachment. Don't know why this happens to you. Wait a few days, in my case when new outlook upgraded to the new versions took some days the problem to be fixed
