Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Diana,
Thanks for your reply! And please forgive my delayed reply bacause of my weekend-off. Since you chose Outlook for Windwos category when posting, so I provied the information on Outlook desktop in my first reply, sorry for my misunderstanding, and now I get that you are using Outlook Web client.
I did some test with my account on Outlook Web, and found the default download location of Outlook Web is set on the browser. I use Microsoft Edge as example:
- Open Settings option of the browser, and click Downloads option, make sure Ask me what to do with each download is turned on. In this page, you can also change the default download folder for the files.
- Go back to your inbox, and click Download. You will see the options of Open and Save as pop up, then you can choose Save as to browse a folder to save the file.
I hope the information can achieve your needs, please feel free to let me know if you have any update further.
Thanks alot for your patience and time! Wish you all the best!
Sincerely,
