I can't believe I have to ask something so dumb but how to I make Outlook ask me every time where to save the email attachments that I am downloading instead of automatically putting them in the Downloads folder?

Outlook | Windows | Classic Outlook for Windows | For home

    WOW! There is finally progress!

I have Outlook Version  1.2024.103.100 , and when I now click Download on an attachment, a Save As... dialog appears!

    Finally! :-)

NOTE: Client Version is 20240105004.01 .

Mine is saving to a random external drive. It's not even in the downloads folder. I have no idea why.

The new outlook does not let me choose the option to pick a folder where I want to download attachments to. It automatically saves them in the 'downloads" folder. Please fix this so that we're able to pick where the attachments are saved.
